The state-of-the-art Miele i 30' Induction Range is the only model we tested that features touchscreen controls, although it took us some time to get used to operating them. As the cooktop elements are induction, they're super responsive — you can bring 6 quarts of water to a boil in under 15 minutes. You'll also find that the cooktop stays cool to the touch, and any spills won't burn on or leave you with a mess to scrub off. Mcafee antivirus. Other nice features on this Miele range include heavy-duty knob controls, and a variety of bells and whistles in the oven.
Features: swivel handle, induction cooktop, touchscreen controls, system lock, wireless roast probe, auto heat up, warming zone on rangetop, MasterChef automatic programs, rapid preheat, Sabbath mode, slow roasting, pizza setting, keep warm, reheat, crisp function, favorites, proof, defrost, dehydrate
How We Tested: The Kitchen Appliances and Technology Lab evaluated fifteen electric ranges. We tested stovetops for how fast they brought water to a boil, and how evenly they heated and simmered. We reviewed ovens on how evenly they toasted bread, baked two yellow cakes on the same rack, and baked one sheet of cookies placed on up to three racks at the same time, using both conventional and convection settings. We reviewed how well broilers toasted bread and broiled steak. We also evaluated each range's ease of use, including how easy it was to use the controls, handles, and storage drawers, how easy it was to clean, and how clear the owner's manual was.
